Employer Opportunity

Employers, Build your Talent Pipeline

Registered Apprenticeship Programs are a great opportunity for businesses and employers to build a loyal, skilled workforce. For employers, apprenticeship programs offer the opportunity to:

  1. Recruit and develop a diverse highly-skilled workforce.
  2. Create flexible training options that ensure workers develop the right skills.
  3. Improve productivity, profitability, and your bottom line.
  4. Reduce turnover, improve loyalty, and retain top talent.
  5. Demonstrate investment in your community.

Education Providers, Train the Talent

Education providers delivering curricula in healthcare, IT, and the energy sectors play a crucial role in RAP. DOL recommends 144 hours of Related Training Instruction that can be delivered in-person, online, by an employer or a combination of all three. net.America’s team of subject matter experts will work with you to link the education and employer on the job components to meet the rigors of a registered apprenticeship program.

LAUNCH YOUR CAREER

Career Seekers, Discover Apprenticeships

Are you seeking a great career in a field you love? Launch your career through Apprenticeships! As an Apprentice, you will “earn as you learn”, meaning you will be hired as an employee of the company that will train you in the skills you need for the job. You also spend some time in the classroom learning information needed to round out your training. An important part of apprenticeship is the mentorship you will be given while on the job to help you succeed every step of the way. Many apprenticeable occupations lend themselves to a career ladder, so where you start may just be the beginning!

THE POWER OF PARTNERSHIP

net.America currently has two intermediary contracts with the United States Department of Labor. As an intermediary, the Division on Workforce Development aims to expand Registered Apprenticeship nationwide. This will be done by providing technical expertise to employers who are interested in partnering. net.America also provides incentive funding that goes towards Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs).

net.America’s Workforce Development Division provides assistance and support for workforce challenges and supports partners while they develop RAP’s that enable apprentices to grow their skills and capabilities. We equip our training providers with the support they need to work with the target population, encourage them to provide career readiness, and develop industry specific skills.

Meet our partners, the programs they have, and opportunities for you to partner or receive support for developing your program.
